what is COB led strip ?

 

COB即Chips on Board,意思是芯片直接封装在PCB板上。COB灯带就是将芯片封装在软板上的灯带。芯片多采用倒装芯片,呈线性固晶在PCB板上,然后在芯片表面直接滴一层混合有荧光粉的封装胶水。外观酷似一条拉面粘在PCB板上,芯片发出的光在封装胶体里面通过折射、反射,以及与荧光粉的相互作用,胶体均匀的发出不同颜色,色温的光。

COB stands for Chips on Board, which means that the chip is directly packaged on the PCB. The COB light strip is a light strip that encapsulates the chip on a flexible board. Chips mostly use flip-chips, which are linearly solid-bonded on the PCB, and then a layer of packaging glue mixed with phosphor is directly dropped on the surface of the chip. The appearance is exactly like a piece of ramen sticking to the PCB board. The light emitted by the chip is refracted, reflected, and interacted with the phosphor in the encapsulating gel. The gel uniformly emits light of different colors and color temperatures.

 

COB灯带与灯珠灯带的区别 (the difference between the cpb led strip and lamp led strip )

①由于COB灯带的结构特性,发光面是一条线性的胶体;而普通灯珠型灯带,其结构是一颗一颗发光的灯珠,贴在PCB板上。所以COB灯带的发出的光要均匀很多,呈线性,没有光斑;

②COB芯片由于直接固晶在PCB板上,芯片的热量可以快速传递到PCB板上。所以COB灯条的芯片散热速度比灯珠型灯带来的快,随之COB灯带的光衰更小,寿命更长;

③COB灯条的发光面发光角度可达到180°。

安装注意事项 (warm tips on installing )

①COB封装胶体直接裸露在外面,属硅胶材质,硬度比较软。安装过程中应避免与尖锐物体有接触,以免划伤发光面,影响发光效果;

②胶体材质极易沾染灰尘且不好处理,所以安装时,注意保持灯带的清洁。如有沾染灰尘,可用棉签粘点酒精,轻轻擦拭。

③COB灯带在安装过程中,尽量一次安装到位,不要有太多反复的撕扯和粘贴的操作。因为COB灯带芯片是直接封装在PCB板上,芯片尺寸特别小,过多的撕扯动作,会造成COB灯带芯片的坏死。

Because the COB light strip chip is directly packaged on the PCB board, the chip size is extremely small, and excessive tearing action will cause the COB light strip chip to die.
